Kris flopped down onto her bed with a sigh. Her suitcase sat next to her, she still hadn't unpacked. Seria wriggled out of Kris's bag and jumped onto the bed. She sat down on Kris's stomach and glared. Kris grinned and ran her hand along the cat's back. "Sorry Ser, I had to hide you from the teachers. Not all of them know about Immortals you know." She sighed and picked up the cat. Kris rolled onto her stomach and shifted through her suitcase, searching for her sketch pad.
Hey Addy? Where are you? You said you'd be in the room in a few minutes. It's way past then. Kris and Addy had the room to themselves, a request sent in by their parents.

Addy sighed. I'll be there in a minute, gosh. Can't I just talk to my friends in peace without you screaming in my head?! She murmured a goodbye to her friends and shuffled off down the corridor with her heavy bags. Why does Mom make us pack so many things? I don't see the point in half of this junk anyways... Adara heard a muffled meow coming from one of the many bags she held. Why do you always have to put me in here? You know I can't breathe, Addy... Oh, suck it up Gem. I left a small hole for you. That should be enough. Adara heard an exasperated hiss and she laughed. A couple of students stopped and stared at her. Head down, she went through her dorm door and flopped down the bags.
Gemini leaped out of the bag and headed straight for Seria. I thought I was going to die in there. Adara sighed. "I'm here. What do you want?"

Kris grinned and looked up at Addy. "You're usually not this grumpy. Gemmy gettin' on your nerves?" Seria sat down by Kris's backback and wrapped her tail around her paws. She glanced over to Gemini. I was shoved in a backpack with a sketchbook and pencils, you think you have it bad? Kris stuck her tongue out at Ser and pulled out her sketchbook. "You're just a sourpuss." Seria glared at her and curled back up.
Kris turned back to Addy and grinned. "I drew a new picture on the way here. The ride wasn't that bumby -thankfully- so I could draw better." She flipped open her sketchbook and flipped to the page she had been coloring. On it was a picture of a pheonix, soaring in the air. "I haven't finished coloring the tail, but I like how the colors blended. Like it?"

Addy shrugged. "It's been a rough day. I've had to listen to his complaining." She shot a glare over at Gem. He purred in response and wrapped himself up into a ball next to Ser. Walking over to Kris, she sat down next to her and nodded in approval. "Pretty. Shift into it. I wanna see" Adara shifted her position so she was laying on her stomach, chin cupped in her hands. A small smile crept on her lips as she waited for her sister to perform her speciality. Addy gently picked up Gemini and set him on her curved back.

Kris rolled her eyes at Addy. "And Gemmy probably feels the same way about you." Seria made a small snort, that was somewhat like a cat's laugh. Kris sighed and flipped the cover of the book back. "I have to finish coloring the drawing first though Addy." She shuffled through her bag and drew out her colored pencils. Kris bent over her picture, picking out colors and shading them together.
There was a gentle knock on the door and a teacher poked her head in. Seria hid her ears and tail, looking like a fluffy pillow. Kris didn't even look up. "Girls, lights out is at ten." Kris muttered something inaudible and nodded, too engrossed in her drawing. The teacher, Miss Crawberry, looked over at Addy and blinked, waiting.

Gemini also hid his head and legs and curled his tail up to look like a faux fur purse on Addy's back. She looked up and smiled at Miss Crawberry. "Thank you, we'll make sure we're asleep by ten. Good evening, Miss Crawberry" Adara said, politely dismissing her teacher. When the teacher had closed the door, Addy sighed. "You really should be more alert." Gem unwrapped himself and leaped down from the top bunk to Addy's lower one. Following her cat, she climbed down the ladder and walked across the many rugs towards the window.
"It's a nice night out." Adara mumured, not really caring if her twin heard or not. She opened the window, letting the unusually warm breeze enter the room.

Kris licked her finger and ran over over the colors, blending them together. Now the bird looked more natural. She grinned, her drawing was finally finished. Kris jumped down off of the top bunk and walked over to the door. She locked it and turned back to Addy. "Ready now?" Kris didn't wait for her twin's answer. She sat down, cross-legged, and shut her eyes. Slowly, her appearence started to change. A beak grew in place of her nose and mouth, her head grew small, eyes beadier. Feathers sprouted along her body and her arms turned to wings. Her legs shifted to slender limbs with talons. And finally a tail feather had grown. Her body set ablaze, much like what a pheonix would do. Kris opened her eyes and looked over to her twin. She trilled softly and tilted her head to the side, ruffling her feathers. What do you think? That transformation only took a few seconds this time.

A grin flashed across Addy's face. Lovely. Simply lovely. And I'm impressed! Nice work, Kris. The silver cat lightly jumped down from the bed and walked over to the phoenix. Gemini wound his way around Kris, purring from the heat radiating off her. Adara laughed at her cat and climbed back up onto her twin's bunk. She stroked Seria and flipped through her sister's sketchbook. Beautiful drawings were on every page. Addy glanced up "I should really finish my sketch of you, Kris. I think I will tonight after dinner. Speaking of dinner....." Closing her eyes, Adara thought of a creamy white plaited gown and it appeared on her, replacing the baggy overalls that were once there. She thought of perfect light brown ringlets and that also appeared on her, the pony tail replaced with tumbling curls. Addy twirled around. "What do you think?" She flashed a gorgeous smile at Kris.

Kris grinned, well, not like anyone could tell. She shifted back to herself instantly. "Very nice Addy, now what should I wear?" Kris grabbed her suitcase and opened it up. "Hmm, let's see..." She grabbed out a skirt, that went to just above her knees, it was black. Then, she pulled out a white shirt, with lime greenish designs over it, the sleeves fell onto her shoulders. She pulled on one arm warmer, it was striped black and grey. "Here." She gave her twin the other one and grinned. "Then we'll match." Kris quickly ran behind the chnaging screen and changed her clothes. She came out, and part of her hair was pulled up. Some curls hung down in her face. "How do I look?" Her bracelets clinked together as she turned around.
